Finance Business Partner

Our client, a FTSE 100 employer of choice with an impressive global footprint and a reputation for providing a fast-paced and dynamic professional working environment, is looking to source an exceptionally talented Finance Business Partner. You will act as the key stakeholder to the UK & Ire Operations Teams, as well as providing crucial support to the Head of Commercial & Ops Finance.

This is a truly visible and cross-functional role in the business, pulling together the analytics and insight around price, promotion, placing and product, as well as how these are executed by the UK Ops Team, in terms of delivery of the operating profit budget. You will have responsibility for approx. £1bn of net sales, as well as multiple high-priority business cases, that will in turn help shape future strategy and aid some crucial decision making.

Main duties include:
* Robust analysis across full estate
* Producing margin performance analysis across segments and categories
* Operation profit delivery and performance management
* Analysing factors behind underperformance & identifying risks
* Overhead OPEX control including spend
* Responsibility for budget process
* Effective KPI reporting, that's clearly understand, focused and leads quickly to clear actions

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with a proven track record in a business partnering position in a fast-paced, commercial organisation. You will ideally have come from a consumer led/multi-site environment and have demonstrated the ability to design and implement processes cross-functionally.

Due to the level of complex stakeholder management, you must be able to utilise credibility and gravitas to influence and challenge others where necessary, in a wholly professional and democratic fashion. You will be a confident communicator and capable of cutting through financial jargon to increase transparency and ensure the most effective, informed decisions are made for the business.
