My Client, a global ecommerce organisation are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to provide direct line management for multiple teams. The successful candidate will be responsible with implementing strategic direction for the Technical Development department.
- You'll have lots of experience in leading Tech teams for large organisations (5 years +)
- Experience and in-depth knowledge about a variety of development methodologies.
- You'll have led mixed capability teams, providing leadership and coaching.
- You will have built and managed teams in a dynamic environment to world class operations supporting business growth
- You will have excellent communication skills - capable of presenting and chairing meetings with all levels of business and partner organisations
- An extensive technical understanding, Java, Scala, Python, CI/CD, Docker, Ansible
- You will have a proven track record of leading a team and managing stakeholders through change, managing expectations, competing priorities and communicating constructively about change.
