BCL Legal is working with one of the country's leading tax, VAT and employment specialists in Buckinghamshire where you can expect to work as a quasi in-house lawyer providing advice on contentious and non-contentious employment law. Based near Milton Keynes, this is perfect for an in-house employment lawyer, or an employment solicitor looking to make the transition into a quasi in-house environment.

Boasting a large client base, this role will allow the successful individual the opportunity to work on all aspects of employment law including dealing with non-contentious matters and general advisory work, in addition to contentious employment disputes to a solely respondent client base. You will have close client and business contact and the opportunity to work very flexibly is available.

This opportunity comes with a great deal of progression to directorships for the successful candidate due to succession planning within the consultancy.

You will be ideally an employment lawyer, solicitor, or fee earner with a minimum of two years worth of experience in employment law. Experience in VAT or tax will be highly advantageous. You will be able to handle employment matters within autonomy and he confident with doing your own advocacy at tribunal. You will need to be good at dealing with clients and have strong communication skills.
