A Senior Finance role has arisen in the Group Reporting function of a UK leading property and infrastructure business. Managing a team, the post holder will provide key support to the Group Financial Controller in ensuring financial information is reported timely and accurately across all business units and will be proactive in helping to drive change to existing processes and ways of working.

Responsibilities:

The role has come up through growth of the business and will see the successful candidate oversee all weekly trading reporting, monthly performance reporting, half year and full year statutory reporting and will provide ad hoc technical accounting support to the business.  You will be the principal finance owner of the internal trading statement process and model, own the balance sheet and cash flow reporting and presentation of this to the Operating Committee and Board and will assist in the preparation of the annual and half year financial statement, Annual Report and prelim results.  Away from the weekly/monthly cycle, you will act as the key finance representative on various project teams concerned with the adoption of new accounting standards (IFRS 9, 15 and 16 primarily) and will assist  in developing best practice procedures and improvements for both internal Group Finance processes and reporting processes and procedures across the wider Finance Group.

Requirements:

Qualified Accountant ACA (Big 4 trained is preferable) to assume a high profile, influential role in a complex environment. 

Technical and up to date accounting knowledge

Experience of Group Reporting

Experience is Property or Property Asset Management
