The role
The firm is seeking to hire an Insurance Regulatory Lawyer (Non-Contentious) into the City of London office.
The Insurance group is ranked top tier in the Legal 500; they have a wealth of expertise that few law firms can match with many of their Lawyers being ranked as leaders in their field, they are also Internationally regarded. They advise insurers, reinsurers, brokers, run-off companies/discontinued businesses, third-party advisers and large financial institutions that conduct insurance business. They also assist Lloyd's members, managing agents, brokers, and policyholders.
You will deal with a broad range non-contentious regulatory matters; you will deal with:
- Prudential and conduct of business matters
- Doing business into or out of a country (for example the use of EEA passport rights)
- General Regulatory matters and advice
- Lloyd's, both underwriting and distribution
Requirements
- You will be an Insurance Regulatory Lawyer with at least five years PQE (there is no upper limit in regarding the amount of experience)
- You will have a good background of dealing with a broad range of Regulatory work
- You should come from a well-known Insurance department
