European Financial Controller

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively supporting an established Bedfordshire based Client with their recruitment of a European Financial Controller.

This newly created role is responsible for the development of the Group's financial and management accounting capabilities to support existing and future international expansion. The role will be project based, and will cover a variety of M&A, Treasury, process design/implementation, Financial and Management Accounting.
Key responsibilities will include:

Mergers and Acquisition

• Creation and validation of cash flow modelling of new channels
• Hands on support and analysis as part of due diligence exercises

Accounting

• Reflecting all transactions with the group financial statements, and aligning with Group reporting standards
• Working with Group parent company to improve processes around consolidating and reporting of group management accounts.
• Delivery of budgets and forecasts across all European countries
• Development and integration of international financial processes into the existing finance team
• Develop, produce and hand over of performance reporting for all international entities

Taxation

• Supporting the development and implementation of the international tax strategy.
• Establishment of process for management of taxes internationally.

Financial Control & Treasury

• Identify areas for improvement in financial control processes and procedures.
• Being the lead contact with the integration of new processes and improvements
• Creation and management of international treasury activities

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual with a 5-10 years PQE, and extensive financial controlling experience within a change centric environment. They will be an exceptional communicator with strong technical and commercial skills, and the ability to influence at all levels within an organisation. The European Financial Controller will be expected to travel on occasion (mostly within Europe), and any European experience would be advantageous.

Our Client is offering a salary of £75,000 - £80,000 + Benefits (DOE)
