Commercial Finance Manager

Our client, a market leading and innovative enterprise with a loyal and diverse customer base that leverages its strength and expertise, is looking to source a top calibre Commercial Finance Manager to join its talented team.

This is a pivotal role for the organisation, supporting Commercial Partners in bidding for contracts through development of business cases and ad hoc analysis. You will work closely with the Head of Commercial to challenge stakeholders, deliver key business objectives and support decision making that will shape strategy across the business.

Main duties include:
* Develop insight and analysis, ensuring the provision of forward looking data to enable business decision making and support commercial deal making
* Manage and improve client and sector reporting to ensure trends are identified and opportunities maximised
* Work with Senior Management Team to develop the 5 year plan and support strategic decisions
* Produce sensitivity analysis to explore scenarios
* Develop and build models to support commercial negotiations and to take new initiatives to market
* Implement new tools and systems to improve processes
* Budgeting and quarterly reforecasting
* Develop product P&Ls and reports
* Prepare weekly and monthly management analysis for regular internal business review meetings
* Manage and develop direct report and coach other members of the team

Key skills and qualifications required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with a strong academic record
* Experience of working in the B2B sector with knowledge of how to price products and services
* Strong communication and ability to influence and challenge the status quo where necessary
* Stellar record in financial planning and commercial analysis
* Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with senior stakeholders and non-finance
* Ability to use own initiative and approach tasks with a flexible and positive view
* Credible, charismatic and confident character
* Highly motivated, ambitious and career-minded
