Senior Accountant - Finance & Management Accounts - UK Retailer - Slough - £50k-£60k + Bonus

A Senior Accountant - Finance & Management Accounts, is required by an international retailer based in Slough, Berkshire. It is a broad and varied role that requires a multi-tasker, able to prioritise tasks, with initiative and able to handle pressure with the need to manage multiple projects. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Senior Accountant role will cover:

• Month End reporting - ownership of management accounts including monthly close, review and account analysis for a multiple entity UK/European business
• Business Partnering - Build relationships with operational units to challenge and help understand how Finance can support them
• Commercial Analysis - providing key measures and KPIs for business
• Project management - Lead projects to drive efficiencies and compliance
• System management - ownership of accounting system, plus new system rollout involvement
• Compliance - Ensure accounting entries comply with US GAAP and SOX compliance
• Team management - providing direction, support and development to an accounts trainee

This is a broad and varied role that will appeal to dynamic, commercial accountants with an interest in influencing the commercial direction of a growing retail company across the UK and Europe.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with previous supervisory experience and who possesses advanced Excel skills and in return you will be offered a salary of between £50k-£60k + 10% bonus + excellent other benefits.
