Portfolio Finance Director

Our client is a well regarded mid market private equity firm looking to appoint a Portfolio Finance Director. The candidate will be part of the fund's management, and will work alongside the investment team across all portfolio businesses.

Your role will be made up of three main areas of responsibility. Firstly, operational work, providing hands on finance management and decision making across all investments. Secondly, you will assist with the evaluation and due diligence on new investments, and handling of legal contracts. Finally, you will manage finances and investor relations for the fund itself, including FCA compliance.

This role promises diverse and exciting challenges. As Finance Director, you will have a rare level of insight across a broad range of companies, and your expertise will be relied upon by the private equity house and the companies that make up its portfolio. You will be remunerated accordingly - besides the competitive pay package, there is the potential for carried interest in the fund.

We are looking for qualified candidates, preferably from a 'Big Four' background. You should have experience of being apart of merger and acquisitions, as well as being a operational Finance Director. The candidate ideally will have experience in SME's within the technology and/or business services sector.

Your desire to be involved in all aspects of the business will be critical to your success. The technical ability to develop the right systems and processes across the business, whilst working strategically with other members of each individual board to develop the business, is vital.
