With experts in development, refurbishment and interior design services, this premium high end construction giant has found critic acclaim for recent projects ranging from £10m-200m. After finding steady growth the company is now looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join the growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Form a close working relationship with the Managing Director, other Senior Executives and Non Executives
- Provide leadership to the Board's Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimise the company's financial performance and strategic position
- Take overall control of the company's accounting function
- Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
- Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
- Lead and develop finance teams
- Producing investment appraisals for new acquisitions and ventures
- Work with senior teams to grow the business, formulating strategies and plans Present annual accounts to investors
Key Requirements:
- Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong leadership experience with a track record of managing expanding finance teams
- Great track record with investment appraisals and business planning and strategy
- Previous experience in the construction industry is essential
- Advanced excel skills
- Hardworking and diligent attitude
- Strong communication skills
