A leading fast growing construction company are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team on a 3 month temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have SME experience and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will very quickly need to understand current processes and offer suggested improvements. Due to the fast growing pace of the organisation, some of the back office processes are underdeveloped therefore a desire to fix problems would be a very useful strength to possess. Day to day responsibilities include:
- Initial involvement in all accounts procedures to gain understanding of the company and accounts function
- Assisting the FC in all month end procedures, leading to the production of accurate and timely management accounts
- Assisting the FC with preparation for year end Audit
- Preparing VAT returns and related reconciliations
- Act as a mentor and guide to more junior team members
The successful candidate will have ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, Management Accounts preparation experience, confident user of Microsoft Excel and Sage line 50 would be advantageous.
