General Position Summary:
The Associate Director- Analytics, will report to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Applications & Analytics in IT and be responsible for working with IT leaders to develop the strategy and implementation plans for the Data Warehouse data and Analytics. The Associate Director will lead the team that designs, develops, tests, and maintains the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Master Data Management, Commercial Analytics, R&D Analytics, and ERP based Data marts and reporting solutions to meet Business objectives. The Associate Director must have strong understanding of Data Warehouse, Analytics platform, and visualization tools.

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop the strategy and implementation plans for IT development of Business Intelligence and Analytical solutions to meet the needs of Commercial and R&D business units including for the Data Warehouse, Data marts and Reporting/Analytics needs.
- Lead the IT Analytics team in defining, designing, and developing specifications for the Data Warehouse, Data marts, Reports, Analytics, and Key Performance Indicators.
- Collaborate with Business Service Providers and maintain strong relationships in order to ensure delivery of business intelligence solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
- Work in collaboration with the business units to further develop and refine the reporting needs and reports required to provide important analytics to the business to help drive decisions as the business grows. Identify key performance measures, metrics, and business levers.
- Work with IT team to ensure they properly analyze, measure, monitor, and prepare quantitative and qualitative reports on internal and external business performance
- Establishes and fosters relationships with business stakeholders and service providers
- The individual must be a self-driven, motivated senior IT leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and leadership/executive presence.
- 10 years minimum experience in the Information Technology field.
- 5+ years of working in Bio-tech/Bio-Pharmaceutical Industry supporting Commercial Operations, R&D Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Service business units meet their Data and Reporting needs.
- 5 years of experience managing Master Data Management solutions and systems.
- 10 years of hands-on experience with aspects of the Data Warehouse lifecycle including data analysis, data modeling & design (preferably using STAR schema approach).
- 8+ years of Hands-on experience in building enterprise reports with major professional report building software packages such as Big Data Platform, Spotfire, SQL Server Reporting Services, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, Mobile Analytics Platform etc.
- Experienced in enterprise level report deployments, upgrades, conversions, and operations.
- Strong strategic leadership and coaching skills
- Well organized, results oriented leader with strong ability to communicate and work effectively with Business Unit users and technical and non-technical users
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related discipline
- Ability to remain flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment and new business processes and concepts
- Strong presence and ability to communicate and deliver business information to Senior Leaders
- Must be a self-starter and have excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
