The role and requirements - Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Chief Accountant will be the expert within the Digicel Group regarding all technical accounting and statutory matters, with responsibility for group statutory accounting and reporting, including the production of a statutory based set of management accounts on a monthly basis. This role plays a critical part within Digicel Group and requires a highly technical and commercial Accountant.

Applicants will have a proven track record of owning and producing statutory financial statements and consolidations in a group level role within a sizeable international corporation and strong expertise and knowledge of IFRS reporting. The successful candidate will have prior proven experience of driving and contributing to the successful global transformation of a finance function. including; establishing central operations and shared service centres, or working successfully as a Financial Controller or Chief Accountant within an established SSC environment.

Applicants must be willing to relocate to Jamaica with a minimum 3-year commitment.
