The FD Centre is urgently recruiting for people right across the UK and Ireland. The roles we have are for portfolio Finance Directors; please only apply if you are committed to this type of career.

The FD Centre is the leading provider of part-time Finance Director services in the UK, and globally, and continues to grow rapidly both within the UK and internationally.  To support this growth the company is looking for qualified, experienced, ambitious Finance Directors with entrepreneurial drive, to join our teams based right across the UK and Ireland to deliver the company's unique style of part-time Finance Director services to mid-tier private, public, charitable and Not for Profit businesses.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on FD experience, have significant entrepreneurial drive, be energetic and have excellent people and communications skills. A breadth of sector and transactional experience is a must.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Strong Finance Director with a minimum of 5 years FD experience along with a commercial and strategic background;

- Breadth of sector and transaction experience;

- Confidence and gravitas;

- Excellent people and communication skills;

Founded in the UK in 2001, the Company now has regional operations across the UK, with over 160 part-time Finance Directors, working across many different industries, along with operations in Australia, South Africa, Canada, the Netherlands, Singapore, Hong Kong, the US, New Zealand, Ireland, India, Belgium and Mauritius.

The company is dedicated to providing first class Finance Director services on a part-time basis to the mid-tier sector, committed to the ongoing development of its own team, both commercially and culturally, and believes in the long-term sustainable growth of its clients' businesses.

With a strong team and collegiate environment, the Company's entire focus is on providing experienced part-time Finance Directors to businesses that require high quality support on an ongoing regular basis and for particular situations as they arise but do not want to offer a full-time employed position.

The Company's FDs are all qualified from one of the major chartered institutes and have all been front line Finance Directors in business once, twice or several times. Many of the company's FDs have also started and run businesses themselves or have general management experience. They share common qualities of excellence and the desire to pass on their knowledge and experience.
