Group Compliance Manager and Legal Counsel

London Stock Exchange listed global travel company seeks mid-range solicitor for rarely available Commercial Legal Counsel and Group Compliance Manager role. A fantastic opportunity to join a world-renowned brand based in central London. It is envisaged that the role will support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Group's strategic approach to all aspects of regulatory compliance and provide additional transactional support on contract matters as part of the Group Legal team.

The work on offer will include:

• Supporting compliance projects by business area, including legal, tax and accounting compliance requirements

• Supporting the Group Data Protection Officer

• Competition Compliance

• Ensuring compliance with Anti-Bribery and Corruption legislation

• Steering Group adherence to anti-money laundering provisions

• Drafting and negotiating contracts and other transactional documents as required

To be considered for this role you should:

• Be a qualified solicitor with approximately 3+ years PQE (given as a guide only)

• Have trained and/or worked in a UK law firm and/or in-house in a UK listed company

• Be analytically astute and identify common themes across multiple issues

• Be able to resolve and handle situations and problems with innovation and creativity

• Combine sound technical legal knowledge with a keen commercial focus

• Be adept in delivering ongoing compliance and risk management functions
