Data Protection Lawyer - In-House!
This leading professional services firm are seeking a highly motivated individual to join its thriving London office.
The Data Protection Lawyer will focus on compliance and risk management advice across the firms offices.
Key responsibilities of the Data Protection Lawyer:
- You will advise internal stakeholders on data processing, data protection, data security, privacy, copyright, and other related legislation and regulation
- Take a lead on data protection and privacy issues
- Update and implement general firm-wide data privacy policies and procedures
- Deliver firm wide audit of personal data management policies and procedures
- Management of subject access requests and data protection notifications
- Management of the firms data protection licences
Key requirements of the Data Protection Lawyer:
- Experience of information security standards such as ISO27001
- Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales
- Demonstrable experience within Data Protection and Privacy Law
