Working Capital Manager Required:

Our client is looking to recruit a Working Capital Manager within their Finance Team. The role will have responsibility to manage all aspects of working capital on the balance sheet and will include cash collection process (OTR) and purchase payment process (PTP).

Key Responsibilities

· Managing the Order to Cash Receipts cycle in the business to ensure that overall working capital objectives are achieved

· Monitoring the as sold terms with the approved terms

· Working with project accounting team and internal project managers to ensure that the processes are in place to invoice on time

· To develop controls points to flag areas / business units or projects where invoicing is not to schedule and provide & implement solutions to rectify

· Working with the customers and project management community to proactively prevent queries which may result in delayed cash collection

· Proactively recommending and implementing solutions in working capital management to minimise AROC balances, maximise POA and getting cash collected in a timely manner in order to meet cash targets

· Contact customers and working with project managers to collect outstanding debts, including the issuing of statements and working with the legal team to issue legal letters

· Maintaining aged debtors and detailed records of client chasing activity

· Managing the day to day purchase payment process to enable the business to meet cash targets

· Create cash model for monthly forecasting on a direct and indirect basis and reconcile the two

· Creating weekly and monthly cash flow analysis on a direct and indirect basis compared to forecast with a variance analysis

· Lead regular cash awareness training for the proposal teams

· Control the credit control policy, process and documentation

· Provide weekly updates to senior management (FD/FC) on progress of cash management

Skills Required:

· Extensive Credit Control background with a track record of success in a similar organisation

· Experience of working with a Credit Insurance provider

· Good excel and modelling skills
