TalkTalk is the UK's leading value for money provider of fixed line broadband, voice telephony and mobile services to consumer and business users. We're proud to say that in 2006 we changed the face of the UK broadband market with the launch of free broadband. Our Consumer Commercial division is currently recruiting a Senior Online Product Manager for our Online Sales team. The Senior Online Product Manager will be a proven online product professional who can demonstrate experience in defining, designing and delivering successful online products in a business to consumer environment. This position will be responsible for a set of products as well as managing promotional implementation and guidelines. They will have responsibility and accountability for sales targets and will be required to have strong domain skills, offer thought leadership and importantly have strong leadership skills. Main Responsibilities: For this role, we're looking for someone who can define new products from an initial idea to detailed functional requirements, lead the production of prototypes, produce storyboards and actual documentation and manage the actual delivery of the product - co-ordinating copy and visuals and working with our web developers to answer their questions and prepare test data. Our new Senior Online Product Manager will be responsible for defining a clear vision for their products which will support our online strategy so they'll need to analyse customer metrics to drive insights and develop a deep understanding of TalkTalk customers and the competitive landscape. Accountable for the performance of their products, they'll track results daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly using Web Analytics and will proactively build plans to stay on target (or exceed them!). They'll also be responsible for performing User Acceptance Tests for their products (independently or with the support of a larger team) and for tracking and understanding competitor offers and general market trends. Requirements: As this role is incredibly important to our Online Sales team, we're looking for someone with extensive experience in product management, specifically producing functional requirements and storyboards or wireframes, User Acceptance Testing, product delivery and management and performance tracking, and someone who has a deep passion for the Web, digital products and online user experience. Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Science, Computing, Web, Marketing or Arts and will have experience in a business to consumer environment along with excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Although familiarity with mobile media, Facebook APIs and social networks and a good understanding of Web development technologies like HTML, XML, AJAX and JavaScript) aren't essential for this role, they are highly desirable! Last but not least, it goes without saying that our new Senior Online Product Manager will need to be self-motivated, hard-working and have a high attention to detail but they'll also need to be self-directed with excellent prioritisation skills and they'll need to be persuasive but diplomatic. TalkTalk are on an exciting journey and we need inspirational people to help us on our way. If this sounds like you, please do not hesitate in applying today.
