The role

• Coordinate internal discussions and together with operational tax manager develop operational tax risk monitoring framework

• Document services standards monitoring and oversight processes for services provided by Third Party Administrators and audit firms in relation to fund tax including;

- Withholding tax

- Annual Investor tax reporting

- Tax advisors/ compliance services

- Daily tax calculations in NAVs

- Offshore holdings

• Analysis of fund tax tasks carried out in house including oversight tasks, documentation of those including process flow charts and procedures

• Produce proposal for improvements of in house processes either via third party administrators or in house IT developments.

• Review SLAs and propose improvements, work with TPAs on the continuous improvement plan

• Create a central repository to allow the production of internal MI to senior management and fund boards



About you

• Degree level education

• Demonstrably strong tax knowledge across domiciles (UK/Luxembourg/ Cayman/ IFRS/US GAAP/UK SORP)

• Proven track record of providing Business Analysis for Fund Administration and or Tax

• Working knowledge of Business Process Improvements required

• Someone with experience of project work is very much preferred and who is proactive and good at coordinating different workload streams

Qualifications:
- Degree in a quantitative analytical area, e.g. management, finance, economics
