Summary/Scope:
The Clinical Research Physician, Hematology/Oncology will be instrumental in supporting the growth of the Solid Tumors organization as it continues to build the value of its current products and develop new products. The incumbent will have hands-on responsibility designing and executing clinical trials, and running programs focused on assigned therapeutic areas. and will exhibit a passion for Phases 1 through 3, including biomarkers, proof-of-concept and full development.

Core Responsibilities:
Design and optimize clinical trial design and ensure clinical trials meet ethical and regulatory standards.
Lead the Clinical Protocol Team, including interactions with discovery, safety, marketing, regulatory, research and other functions.
Write protocols that are in-line with the overall indication strategy.
Present at Investigators' meetings.
Conduct medical review and interpretation of efficacy and safety data from clinical trials.
Have responsibility for the quality, coordination, medical accuracy and timeliness of clinical study reports.
Work with other Therapeutic Area Heads and team members to prepare abstracts, manuscripts and presentations for external meetings as well as author clinical sections of regulatory documents (IB, IND sections).
Assist senior management to oversee quality, coordination and timeliness of clinical sections of INDs, Investigator Brochures, CTAs, ISS's, ISE's, and clinical expert reports.
Present and discuss data and findings at relevant team, governance, KOL and regulatory meetings.
Establish and maintain working relationships with Study investigators, key opinion leaders, academicians, and Celgene Senior managers and department heads across the corporation
Ensure adherence to GCP/ICH and Celgene Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) standards.
Maintain clinical and scientific awareness in area of expertise.
Guide and influence the distribution and management of Clinical Research Scientists
Manage lifecycle requirements and plans for designated indications.

Qualifications
Prerequisites: Minimum M.D. or PhD degree and substantial medical/clinical training in hematology/oncology or a related field

General Description:

The Project Leader, Celgene Global Health will be:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



The Associate Director, as part of the Assessment Design and Development (AD&D) team, will support the delivery of strengthened vendor management across the College Board assessment programs, achieving quantifiable improvements to the quality of assessment delivery.



The Associate Director will act as liaison between the vendor and internal groups and is responsible for an evolving relationship through the term of the agreement including escalation of issues which may have an impact to scope or cost. The Associate Director will work with AD&D Project Management on identifying improvements within quality of work provided by vendors.



The Associate Director, Assessment Vendor Management will perform the following functions:



*Work with assessment vendors and Assessment Design and Development staff to train external vendors in assessment development processes and procedures

*Collaborate with the AD&D Project Manager to support the planning and execution of Assessment Design and Development projects to ensure the coordination and engagement of assessment vendors

*Support the Senior Director in administering consistent work plan process and policies to be used by College Board and its assessment vendors

*Use open and consistent lines of ommunication between the College Board Assessment Design and Development staff and its assessment development vendors, and execute proper identification and escalation of issues

*Facilitate the updates and maintenance of program work plan and its process

*Assist in managing new contracts and renewals with our growing portfolio of assessment vendors

*Work with item bank staff to support workflow processes across the department

*Coordinate closely with subcontractors, managing the relationship and work plan in accordance with established policies and procedures



RESPONSIBILITIES



*Develop and maintain relationships with assessment development vendors and independent contractors

*Facilitate, monitor performance and maintain regular communications with vendors.

*Contribute and communicate, in a holistic manner, development performance in a consistent manner across all programs, allowing the College Board to manage its portfolio of assessment development vendor relationships

*Incorporate the best practices from across all programs vendor management into the assessment development vendor management program.

*Actively use and support management tools to maximize vendor value, including tools to track contract compliance and analyze the value of vendor services.

Summary/Scope

A minimum of 8 10+ years health care policy and advocacy experience in government relations with a company, association or firm, as a Congressional staff member or in a relevant government department or agency.
Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
A thorough understanding of Congressional and Executive Branch policy-making processes, including the roles and decision points in the Executive agencies, the White House, the Senate and the House, as well as the role of patient advocacy groups, think tanks and associations.
Demonstrated, bipartisan coalition building skills.
A proven record of advancing important policy issues through the legislative process.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. The ability to persuasively communicate complex concepts and programs at the highest level of government and business.

Qualifications
An undergraduate degree is required. A graduate degree in Public Policy, Health Administration or Law would be a plus.
