Our Client is currently embarking on a period of significant growth of our Electrical capability. To enable growth we require a Senior Digital and Communications Technology expert to help develop our strategy and lead our service development.
Requirements
Ideally this candidate will have experience of a variety of industries including at least one of Defence, Telecoms and Process Industries.
The candidate should have a strong technical and project background, and preferably a minimum of 10 years design experience. Good technical understanding of fundamental principles of digital technology and communications theory and its practical applications; in particular with regard to system security. Experience of firmware development (e.g. VHDL) and communication protocols is desirable. Experience should include:
• Digital technology technical lead
• Communications systems experience
• Interpretation of clients' technical needs
• Technical leadership on projects
• Mentor / supervisor of staff
• Preparation of proposals
• Lead marketing initiatives
• Develop growth strategy
• Ability to manage own workload and set priorities
• Project management
Ideally the candidate should have previous consultancy experience, including responsibility for business development.
Key to this role is the ability to develop Our Client growth strategy within the area of Digital Technology, developing and generating new business streams. Consequently the candidate should be able to identify target areas for Our Client, develop our products and services and mentor staff as appropriate to meet the requirements.

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join a successful company involved in high performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs for the consumer electronics market. In this position you will be responsible for the design of Analog/Mixed Signal power management circuits in CMOS.

You will also be designing CMOS/BCD power management circuits and supporting DFT strategy.
