The Role
The purpose and remit of the QHSE Director role:- Report to MD on status of operations in terms of QHSE effectiveness Provide strategic direction and leadership to the UK team in terms of the management of HS, quality and environmental management Ensure company meets all legal requirements regarding QHSE Ensure regular audits take place and that policies are adhered to in accordance to objectives Provide effective training and communications with staff regarding updates to UK legislation Motivate and manage the QHSE team ensuring objectives are clear and business and customer needs are met Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and clients where required to ensure smooth operations
The Candidate
The QHSE Director skills and qualifications:- Must have knowledge of UK certifications for HS and ideally have worked in an FM Environment - the focus is more on Hard Services experience Must have knowledge of Quality Health and Safety and Environmental Management Must have successfully managed and mentored a large team, providing guidance, support and succession planning Must be able to demonstrate a commitment and passion towards excellent customer service and be willing to go the extra mile Ideally you will have a degree or HND engineering and must be NEBOSH Qualified Must be a people person, you will be able to communicate at all levels in a confident manner and be able to build loyalty in your team and from customers
