This popular City firm seeks a senior private equity solicitor with a solid private equity background and experience of fund raising and investment structures, including FSMA aspects. Mid-market and venture capital is also essential. You will have a demonstrable track record of advising on private equity transactions and proven experience of running transactions without partner level support. A clear track to partnership exists for the right candidate.

You will work in the corporate group advising on a broad range of work for major private equity clients including:- national and international acquisitions and disposals - assets and shares; transaction negotiation/strategy; auction sales; due diligence; group reorganisations; pre-sale planning and preparation; project management; investment and shareholder agreements: mid-market and venture capital; and, transaction structuring.

The role will also require the ability to provide assistance to less experienced team members and assisting with training initiatives; get involved in or take responsibility for marketing initiatives including delivering training and briefing notes as well as play a part in business development.
