The Market and Valuation Risk Group, within Audit, covers Market Risk, Model Risk and Valuation Risk across Global Markets, Corporate Investments and Treasury and in occasions, counterparty credit risk audits. The core objectives are:

· Lead Market Risk and Valuation Risk audits across EMEA and Emerging Markets excluding Asia
· Participate in integrated audits regionally and globally
· Provide subject matter expertise for the wider Audit group
· Infuse market risk knowledge and preventative mindset into the larger audit group and business

The team you could be joining is quite unique in the market, giving great access to senior management in the front office and risk functions. It is also a centre of excellence within Internal Audit.

You will be responsible for independently conducting quantitative analytics and complex modeling projects. Leads efforts in development of new models, analytic processes or system approaches. Creates documentation for all activities and may work with technology staff in design of any system to run models developed. Incumbents possess excellent quantitative/analytic skills and are able to influence strategic direction, as well as develop tactical plans.

Essential Experience:
· Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, operations research, physics, or economics.
· Sound organizational, analytical, quantitative, oral, and written communication skills.
· Ability to work well with and communicate with others, from teammates to executives, and to present findings to upper level management and executives.
· Ability to juggle multiple work efforts and to quickly change direction as needed.
· Expertise in one of R, SAS, C++, MatLab, Java

Desirable Experience:
· Significant quantitative financial experience / Experience with financial regulatory guidance, audit or compliance
