Primary Deputy Head – Enfield, North London – September 2013 – L11 to 14 – 2 form entry

Looking for a post as a DHT for September in a well run Primary school located in Enfield, North London? Want to find a small school, with excellent facilities, a committed head and bright students keen to learn?

If you answered yes this is the school you need to consider!!

***Deputy Head Teacher – 2 form entry Primary School
***School is only 10 years old – Excellent facilities and lovely setting
***Permanent role paid on the Leadership scale (L11-14)
***Good behaviour, attendance and committed staff

From September 2013 this lovely, new, 2 form entry primary located in the Outer London borough of Enfield is looking to appoint a Deputy Head Teacher to work alongside the Head teacher.

The school is in a stage of development and having recently had an Ofsted has a clear remit of where it needs to improve in order to become a good or outstanding school. The key focus will be on raising attainment, especially in key stage 2 which is a weakness. The DHT post will be to focus on a bit of everything but with a majority being spent on Assessment, Inclusion and Numeracy while supporting staff to raise standards of teaching and learning throughout.

The structure at this school means that you will be the only deputy head in post. The head at this school is friendly but focused. She understands where the school needs to improve and has a clear plan to how this can be done. She is looking for someone who has their own ideas and input but who will ultimately support her in helping make change and support staff development.

The head is open to seeing applications from current DHT’s and those that are ready to make the step up to it. The successful candidate will need experience taking on a number of different responsibilities throughout the school which has included leading and developing staff, improving standards throughout and working in pressurised situations.

This post is offered on a permanent basis paying on the leadership scale between L11-14. For further information and an immediate discussion on the school please email your CV to Adrian at Edustaff today!
