The key objective of the Head of Business Assurance is working closely with the Project Director as well as key stakeholders in order to achieve the agreed strategy and guide the business partners through the implementation process.

Key responsibilities :

Design, own, drive, maintain and communicate the overall Transformation Test Approach and Strategy

Define and own the Release Roadmap and Strategy for the Programme

Ensure the Roadmap is communicated and ensure it is complimented and complimentary to the wider Capita CCM and ITS Release Roadmaps

Manage the overall change schedule for the company

* Manage the forward schedule of change
* Work with projects and business as usual teams to ensure change is planned and delivered in a controlled and well governed manner
* Facilitate the safe and successful co-ordination and delivery of change from multiple sources across all regions
* Ensure change is visible to all parties and the process is transparent to all
* Drive a continuous improvement and lean culture in ensuring change owners take higher accountability for their change without relying on Change and Release Management controls
* Ensure the methods, tools, and education on the process achieve the best balance between effectiveness and efficiency, without compromising quality
* Act as Release Authority for changes into production, including facilitation of Go / No-Go processes
* Review wider Capita Change Strategies and Software Releases, ensuring alignment to Transformation Roadmap



The successful candidate with have strong communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders in order to delivery key metrics across the project. An in-depth knowledge or project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifestyle is a must.

Our client is a long established and successful high tech engineering business with a diverse and interesting product line. A need has arisen for an experienced interim lawyer to join the small team, for a period of 6-9 months. Their current Group Solicitor is due to go on maternity leave and they will need someone to support the business and undertake a range of commercial contracts focused work.

This wide ranging role is focussed around drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of complex heavyweight supply and purchasing contracts, but could also encompass IP / technology transfer agreements, and joint ventures as well as general commercial support to the business. Youll also need to stay abreast of legal developments and relevant legislation affecting the company and incorporate them into the company's practices, and help develop, and understand, risk mitigation strategies for contractual risks.

To be successful in this role you will need a strong commercial contracts background (anticipated to be at least 6 years pqe ), ideally having worked in house, and have pragmatic and commercial outlook to assisting a business achieve its goals

The company is based in West Yorkshire, and is easily commutable from both Leeds an Manchester Huddersfield. to keep fee earners aware in relation to specific difficulties or timescales should their job be at risk for whatever reason
• Embrace the quality check protocols operational within the department
• Ensure feedback forms are completed for all pieces of work
• Complete timesheets accurately in accordance with department protocols for prompt submission to the manager
• Show initiative and responsibility when dealing personally with fee earners
• Attend training as and when necessary on specified dates
• Attend departmental meetings (where appropriate) and to take an active part in discussions and give feedback
• Help to raise the profile of DP with a professional approach within the team and towards internal clients at all times
• Show commitment and flexibility to the job
• Respect and apply the policies laid down in the Human Resources Policy Manual.
