Field Sales Executive (B2C) - The role:
• Field based sales, working predominantly with customers in their own home
• Providing fully accredited energy assessments on domestic properties and proposing government/energy company incentivised home energy saving measures
• Generating own leads through referrals and recommendations
• Following up leads generated by our partnerships with all the major energy providers
• Fully expensed training and support will be provided at our Flagship Training Academy.

The successful Field Sales Executive (B2C) will be:
• An experienced field sales person with a proven track record in achieving sales in either a B2C or B2B environment
• Target driven, self motivated and someone who relishes working in a competitive environment
• Highly customer focused, professional and presentable
• Flexible with regards to working hours (will include evenings and weekends)

You must possess a full and current driving license (held for a min. of 12 months)

As a result of the recent acquisition of a China-based specialist manufacturing business, the organisation is seeking to add to its highly regarded in-house legal team, currently based in Leeds, Munich, Chicago, Singapore and Shanghai.

This key appointment offers a unique opportunity to join the Leeds-based team and play a pivotal role working closely with a major division of the Premier Farnell business. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in commercial and/or corporate law and will have qualified in an Asian legal jurisdiction (and ideally in the UK or US).

The successful candidate will advise on a wide range of commercial matters including drafting and negotiating global and local customer, supplier and reseller sales and marketing contracts, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements as well as consumer protection, e-commerce and product compliance legislation. You will take a lead role on corporate matters, especially acquisitions and disposals. It will also be necessary to have an overview on matters such as IP, litigation and employment. The role will involve a certain amount of international travel.

Premier Farnell seeks a highly commercial individual, confident operating across all levels of a business, especially in dealings with senior management.

Our client is a well established Legal 500 rated firm which provides a full range of services to both commercial and private clients. They have offices in York and surrounding towns and enjoy significant profile across North and East Yorkshire. As the broader economy recovers the firm is looking to recruit to ensure it has the right expertise and structure to meet the needs of a rising market.

With a view to long term planning the firm are now looking to recruit a Commercial Property lawyer who will specialise in acting for agricultural clients and land owners. The range of work will include sales and purchases of agricultural land, grants of easements and wayleaves, farm business tenancies and agricultural holdings, option agreements, and redevelopment of agricultural buildings. You’ll also gain an appreciation of the tax implications of rural land and property management decisions on family or charitable trusts, though the firm does have a sizeable specialist private client department.

Whilst the firm is looking for someone with upwards of 6yrs PQE, they are not insistent that a suitable candidate has done agricultural work to date as the successful candidate will benefit from close mentoring from a long experienced partner who is well connected and a true expert in all matters pertinent to farming and estates clients. The firm will re-train the right property lawyer into this niche.

Most important is that they get someone from a solid real estate background, and who has a genuine interest in acting for farmers and landowners, and who wishes to make a long term commitment to practising as a lawyer in the North/East Yorkshire region. For someone re-training there will obviously be a technical learning curve but given the support available if you have the right application and attitude then making this step is perfectly possible.

Going forward you can expect to be introduced to a wealth of contacts in the agricultural community. Strong client skills and an enthusiasm to build relationships are key abilities which the firm is looking for so as to maintain and continue the client relationships they have built up over many years.

This represents an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with a genuine interest in acting for rural clients and who is looking for the work and lifestyle choice that this opportunity represents. Remuneration will be competitive and long term prospects are good. The firm does want a candidate who will commit to the York area, but candidates who are not currently in the locality yet who have a demonstrable connection to the region and willingness to relocate are encouraged to apply.
