The Company:
Our client is a leading IT infrastructure and services company. They provide solutions involving the design, implementation and support of IT infrastructures for HP, Microsoft, VMware, Oracle and other platforms. They provide a range of other IT software services including advice on managing software licencing. Their integration facility enables the build and test of complete solutions prior to delivery and installation at their customer sites. They deliver customised vendor independent end-to-end and application ready solutions with the management and 24/7 Support.
The position:
They are now seeking Sales Executives with a strong track record in new business sales in the IT "solutions" market for opportunities within their expanding Midlands UK sector.
You need to have a minimum of 5 years' experience selling IT infrastructure solutions.
You must have experience in managing complex sales, including bringing into the sale the client's technical specialists who will conduct detailed on-site evaluations and make recommendations as to improvements in the IT infrastructure of the prospective client.
Additionally, some experience selling software asset management services (SAM) is preferred.
Responsibilities include;
New business development within existing allocated accounts and from new business campaigns. New business from allocated leads. Selling the whole portfolio of Managed ⋑port Services to commercial accounts within defined target markets. Service led consultative selling to develop business in line with business plans and personal targets. Creating, managing and developing multiple level relationships in customer base. Cross selling and up-selling into developed base to maximise opportunities.
