About the Process & Technology team

The Process and Technology team specialise in developing innovative technology solutions to address the needs our clients have to improve insight, efficiency and quality in their tax compliance and reporting processes. About the Role

Following an initial orientation period of 2-3 months, you will be expected to progress projects under your own initiative and to liaise effectively with client and specialist teams on business development opportunities, proposals and projects. The role offers high levels of responsibility and you will also play a key role in shaping and executing our business plan, managing and developing junior members of the team.

Responsibilities:

* Design and configuration of our tax reporting solutions to specific client requirements
* Assessing tax reporting processes and controls and advising on best practice and improvement opportunities
* Reviewing tax reporting technology implementations
* A lead role in the ongoing development of the suite tax reporting solutions, supporting thought leadership and marketing materials.
* Actively supporting the partner and director group in the pursuit of opportunities and responses to proposals.
* Managing one or more relationships with tax technology companies.

Requirements:

Although previous experience of tax technology is an advantage this is not essential as support and on the job training will be provided by other team members. The successful candidate will have proven capabilities in the following areas:

* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong analytical skills and general tax technical ability.
* Some tax reporting experience and knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP through audit of tax or otherwise.
* Sound commercial awareness and an appetite for networking and business development.
* Identifying new opportunities for our client to solve client problems
* Excellent project leadership and management skills.
* Ability to guide technology resources in the delivery of projects and the development of solutions.
