You will be an expert in Windows technology, and will be the Subject Matter Expert in this area throughout the organisation.
Key Accountabilities
•Act as the Technical Design Authority for all aspects of Windows, Directory Services and End User Computing technologies

Essential Skills
•Specialist in Directory Services, Certificate Management and Windows System Administration (server and desktop) including AD, ADFS, ADRM, DHCP, PXE, Dirsync, DNS, LDAP, IP Address Management, PKI, SCCM
•In-depth experience of Migration/Consolidation of Active Directory domains
•Strong experience of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop, Microsoft Configuration Manager 2007 / 2012
•In-depth Windows Client migration experience, factoring profile management (i.e. AppSense) and application packaging / sequencing (i.e. App-V) / Hosting
•Experience working with and delivering through outsource partners/Managed Service Providers
•Excellent communication skills, written & verbal. Must be able to communicate on a conceptual & technical basis, as well as translating the technical deliverables into the business value that they deliver.
Desirable skills
•Experience of VMware ESX design, configuration and failover mechanisms
•Experience of specifying/creating standard OS builds
•Broad understanding of Infrastructure technologies to a detailed level in the several of the following disciplines: Distributed Server and Mid-Range Platforms, Data Networking & Security, Enterprise Management & Monitoring Frameworks, Mainframe, Performance and End-to-End Service Monitoring, Netapp Storage

Function
