Legal Counsel

An innovative business with strong brand recognition is looking to recruit a Legal Counsel for their in-house team. This permanent, full-time role will pay up to £64,000 per year and be based at the head office in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

The business has two key strands to their activities and has been a major disruptor in their field. With strong advertising presence and superb affiliates, they routinely work with leading brands across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities of your new role

Reporting into the Head of Legal, your primary responsibilities in this In-House Counsel role will include:

• Providing commercial advice to both sides of the business
• Reviewing, negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial contracts including outsourcing agreements, partnership agreements and marketing/advertising agreements
• Working closely with key internal stakeholders, offering commercial as well as legal advice to the business.

Candidate requirements

The business wishes to speak with Legal Counsel applicants who demonstrate:

• Around 6 years of PQE
• Experience advising on commercial matters
• Strong commercial contracts drafting and negotiating experience
• Currently working as a commercial contracts, litigation or corporate lawyer looking to join a high profile and growing organisation

Salary and benefits
