This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a core M&A team supporting a global group on its expansion plans across the UK and EMEA regions. The role will sit within a larger legal team and offers the opportunity to develop both your legal and commercial skills in a fast paced and forward-thinking environment. The quality of work is very high, and you will be given all the support and training typical of a large law firm whilst getting involved directly supporting a global company.
The position
Our client is a world leader in its field and going through continuous year on year growth. This position is integral to maximising this growth and will entail legal and risk management advice on acquisitions, disposals, investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and project management in the UK, Ireland and EMEA.
Experience sought
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer who has experience in M&A activity ideally in cross-border transactions (although strong UK experience can also be built on). In-house experience would be a benefit but not essential. You will be pragmatic, a good communicator and a confident, calm individual. You must have a strong academic background and professional training with a reputable law firm or business.
On offer
- The highest quality UK and international work.
- A fantastic working environment. This is an exciting, fast paced business with an enviable reputation.
- Good benefits package.
- Flexibility. Our client is a flexible employer and will consider some home working.
The role can either be based in their Nottingham or London offices.
