Senior Finance Business Partner

Badenoch & Clark have are assisting an instantly recognisable global business to recruit for a Senior Finance Business Partner. Working as a true Finance Business Partner, this role provides analytical support, counsel, insight, and leadership so that the business exceeds its financial, operational and strategic goals.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Proactively challenge business plans to add value, highlight risks and support development of mitigation plans to ensure that adequate consideration is given to the decision and that alternatives have been reviewed to facilitate profitable long-term decisions.
* Deliver results through the ownership of business objectives and financial plans.
* Enable multifunctional teams to exceed financial, operational and strategic goals by providing appropriate analysis, insight into key business performance trends, evaluation of key strategies and execution plans, active involvement in investment decisions (marketing, footprint and product innovation), evaluating competitor behavior and implications, supporting development of brand operating plans and new product development.
* Develop forward looking scenarios and play instrumental role in FP&A process
* Ensure the continuous improvement of all systems, processes and capabilities.
* Lead, challenge and influence; You will provide counsel and advice to the Business Team, to push the thinking and strategies and recommend actions that are designed to deliver the strategic imperatives.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

* CIMA or ACCA Qualified Accountant (Or equivalent)
* Previous Finance Business partnering experience ideally gained in a consumer facing business - Retail, FMCG, Media, Advertising etc.
* Strengths in interpersonal communications, critical thinking, project management and functional / technical skills
* Solid quantitative and analytical skills with ability to quickly identify opportunities, make recommendations and gain buy-in at different org levels
* Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence decision makers, to build relationships, to offer consultative, business-relevant and pragmatic approaches
* Knowledgeable in financial theory and practice, including discounted cash flow analysis, business modelling, financial statement analysis, and sensitivity analysis
