Our client is a high growth, PE backed business services group with exciting future plans. They are now looking to recruit a new Finance Director to partner the CEO as they seek to capitalise on the company's considerable success to date. As a member of the Board of Directors the successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing and developing Finance, IT and Business Support Teams.
Responsibilities
- Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on and analysis of the Company's financial performance
- Management of annual budgeting process
- Leading on annual audit processes and risk compliance
- Ensuring compliance with relevant audit, tax and regulatory requirements
- Overall responsibility for procedures and controls over financial transactions and the Company's assets
- Ensuring compliance with bank covenants and forecasting of headroom against future covenants
- Continuous improvement of financial systems and processes to deliver an efficient and high-quality service
- Provision of meaningful and accurate information to support and influence strategic decision making
- Develop and maintain the pricing and standard cost rates structure
- Drive financial forecasting and increased profitability
- Lead strategic finance projects
Skills & Experience
- Fully Qualified accountant
- Minimum of 5 years' experience of a senior finance role
- Experience of working in a VC/ PE backed business
- Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level
- Experience of working with senior lenders and covenant rich debt facilities
- Experience of making and integrating smaller strategic acquisitions
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
