Financial Controller

Marks Sattin are delighted to announce that we are currently working with a travel organisation based in West Molesey, Surrey. This is to help the recruitment process for a Financial Controller to join this growing organisation on a permanent basis. Salary for this position is starting from £55,000 to £65,000, including other fantastic benefits.

The Role:

This Financial Controller position will be reporting directly into the Senior Leadership and board of Directors, with a dotted line to the Group Controller based in Canada. This role will see the successful candidate managing a team of two with further growth planned in this team. You will also be asked to drive all commercial aspects of the finance function, technical, statutory, governance duties, as well as financial & management reporting for the business. You will also be asked to present to other senior board members including to group in Canada on a monthly/quarterly basis.

The Profile:

To be considered for this role, you will hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CCAB). This candidate will have previous work experience of managing a team, ideally previously worked with an international business and reporting internationally which will be desirable when it comes to a person being successful for this role.
