Interim Financial Controller for a high growth Bio-Tech company

A high growth Biotechnology company based in London, with global operations. They are currently building out their finance function within the UK, so this will be an exciting opportunity to work alongside and impressive CFO to get the business on an upward curve.

Your new role

The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts for the group's entities. You will manage the technical accounting under IFRS and local GAAP for the group's external reporting. You will also manage all internal controls and process improvement within the business. Alongside this, you will be responsible for managing audits and working alongside different business units to provide accurate financial reports.

The role will involve internal and external reporting.
You will be responsible for

• Statutory reporting under IFRS and USGAAP
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Managing a team of 2
• Focus on improving reporting especially with goals around introducing more of an FP&A influence on the numbers
• The team will be transactional
  
  What you'll need to succeed
  
  You will be a qualified accountant, with a strong background in external and internal reporting, statutory reporting and controls. Exposure to IFRS, USGAAP and large international businesses, on a group level ideal. You will also have experience managing multiple entities. Pharmaceutical background desirable.
