A leading international firm is seeking a Commercial Solicitor to join their rapidly expanding Technology and Commercial team in London. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from talented City lawyers in a wide and varied role.
The Role
This Commercial Solicitor will join a successful Technology team which is part of a wider national network of around 35 technology lawyers. Clients range from quick growth digital businesses, established medium-sized Technology business, 'blue-chip' businesses, and as well as disruptors such as digital challenger banks.
Responsibilities
The successful lawyer will work primarily on IT and commercial contracts, with the opportunity to work on related matters such as IP and data protection.
The workload includes:
- General commercial agreements
- Software development and licensing
- Technology implementation projects
- E-commerce and digital platforms
- Data licensing and services arrangements
- Product and services supply agreements
- IT and business process outsourcing
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Lawyer
- Ideally 3-6 years' PQE
- Strong experience in Commercial Law, dealing with commercial contracts etc
- Experience in the technology sector would be advantageous
Salary and Contract
- Permanent, full time basis
- Negotiable salary
