A Lincolnshire law firm is looking to recruit a Senior Commercial Property Lawyer to join its growing team. This is an opportunity for a mid level lawyer to make the next step up in their career or an existing senior lawyer who has grown frustrated at their current firm.

Client Details

A well respected Lincolnshire law firm with an existing real estate client base of both commercial and development clients.

Description

After a number of successful recruits at the more junior end, this Lincolnshire property team is looking to make another hire but at the more senior end.

The team is very successful with a big pipeline of work from both developer and commercial clients. The team is relatively small with two partners and more junior members of staff. Their clients have indicated that there will continue to be more Real Estate work to come and therefore they would like to bring in a client-facing senior lawyer to help develop the department.

As the team and firm is small compared to some of the regional Lincolnshire players, you would be able to make an impact quickly - there are clients and matters for you to work on straightaway. You will work closely with the senior partners who will be committed to help developing your career at the firm and you will also help supervise the junior members of staff.

The Partnership of the firm is also small, so a clear progression route can be set out together with what you would need to do to climb the ladder. So if you have aspirations of getting to Partnership but are worried about the red tape and glass ceiling at your current firm, then this firm could be able to offer you that route you are looking for.

The firm has a good work/life balance compared to some other regional players and they have a strong retention of staff as a result.

Profile

It's likely you'll have at least 5 years' experience advising on Commercial Property matters. The ideal person will not just be a strong technical lawyer but you'll also be focused on the business development and networking side of things.

Unlike a lot of senior roles, they're not looking for a client following. In fact, they're confident of additional work coming through from existing clients very shortly.

However if you are from the local market and are looking for a new home for clients then the firm would still be pleased to speak with you. Whilst Partnership isn't necessarily on offer for this particular role, if you have a client base and are currently a Senior Associate/Partner at another firm then the firm would consider looking at a Partnership hire.

Job Offer

Competitive salary with good clear progression and exposure to clients.
