Senior Counsel - Downstream - Energy - Qatar - £110K - £120K

Our client is an international Oil & Gas exploration and production company, a leading player in both the Gulf and the global market. Their legal department is well managed and is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to work in the Downstream section of their legal team.

The role involves advising the commercial teams on legal matters arising from the transport and then (international) sale of natural gas, gas liquids and refined products. Candidates should have a common law background and be qualified in the UK, Australia or New Zealand. They must have at least 8 years' PQE, gained in either the energy team of a law firm with an excellent reputation in the energy industry or within the legal team of another E&P company or a combination of the two.
