An excellent opportunity has surfaced for a Regulatory Solicitor to join a reputable organisation as In-House Counsel.
The Role
The Legal Counsel will report to a knowledgeable and engaging Director, helping the team to secure opportunities by analysing and managing the risks associated with new territories around the world.
Not only will you have a heavy involvement in regulatory projects, but you will also have the opportunity to handle competition and policy matters.
Other In-House Counsel duties will include:
- Partnering with regulators and associated bodies
- Handling litigious issues
- Supporting teams across Europe and Internationally
Candidate Requirements
- UK Qualified Lawyer (or equivalent)
- Up to 3 years' PQE
- Previous regulatory experience such as finance, utilities, telecommunications or gambling, gained at a private practice firm or in-house
- Language skills would be highly advantageous but are not a prerequisite
- Previous in-house experience is useful but not essential
Salary and Contract
- Permanent, full time contract
- £65,000 - £75,000 per annum
