Employment Counsel

The Company :

An international technology business who provide innovative solutions to the aerospace industry.

The Role :

Reporting to the US based VP of Legal (Employment), you will support stake holders across Europe on all employment law matters. Overtime you will be expected to take on employment issues across EMEA and APAC.

Supporting both the HR and Legal teams, your remit will include;

• Supporting the HR team on grievance, disciplinary, performance and dismissal processes
• Managing contentious and non-contentious employment law matters such as restrictive covenants, terminations and redundancies, TUPE transfers, employee rewards and mergers and acquisitions.
• Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, settlement agreements, master service agreements and tenders
• Manage external Counsel and ensure legal cost are controlled

You :

The successful candidate will be/have the following;

• Qualified Solicitor with at 5 years+ PQE
• Extensive knowledge of employment law, ideally across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law
• Demonstrable ability to design and implement policies and procedures to improve practices
• Preferably you will have in-house experience, however candidates straight from practice are also encouraged to apply
