Key Responsibilities.
- Providing legal and regulatory advice to the trading solutions business
- Structuring of documentation of repacking transactions and other securitized derivatives
- Support regulatory initiatives related to activities in the bank, those that directly relate to the operation and infrastructure of the securitized derivatives markets to more general regulatory changes such as MiFID etc
- Participate in General Counsel departmental initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have.
- Between 3-7 PQE for a senior level position (vice president title)
- Any lawyer with structured products/derivatives experience from NQ-3 PQE for the junior position (assistant vice president title)
- Knowledge of legal issues affecting repackaging and other structured finance
- Understanding of financial services industry regulation
