Elevation Senior Finance are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager for a leading non for profit organisation in Wakefield.

Responsible for a team of 30 across Management, Financial accounting and Analytics. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a changing organisation and lead on the development and transformation of all aspects of Financial and Management accounting, and Business Information.

Key Duties will Include:-

-Be a champion of the introduction and deployment of a new Enterprise Resource Planning platform to deliver improved efficiencies and effectiveness within the finance function and across the whole of the organisation
-Contribute to the development of the business strategy and financial management of the organisation and develop the capacity, competencies and motivation of the Finance Team
-Lead on the maintenance of financial viability and regulatory compliance in respect of periodic budgeting; forecasting; variance analysis; and reporting, including the preparation and reconciliation of annual Business Plans, Financial Statements, Management Accounts and regulatory, and other third party, submissions
-Deliver the optimal mix of guidance, advice and challenge, internally and from external sources, in support of the growth and diversification of the business
-Provide finance and business information advice and guidance, including to Board and Corporate Management Board, across the whole range of activities undertaken by the business
-Ensure that all financial controls, systems and processes operate effectively throughout the company
-Oversee the successful operation of the annual budgeting and forecasting process;
-Ensure completion of the year-end process and the production of the annual report and accounts
-Lead and manage the finance and Business Information teams, focusing on improving services and performance throughout the business and ensure the teams have the necessary skills to deliver agreed objectives and implement plans
-Provide and interpreting financial information by monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
-Analyse change and advising accordingly and formulate strategic and long-term business plans
-Research and report on factors influencing business performance by analysing competitors and market trends
-Develop financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
-Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
-Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
