CFO

Our client, a high growth technology business, is now looking to recruit CFO to join their 80+ team based in London.  The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations and investor relations.  As a key member of the Executive Management team, the CFO will report to the company CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.  This is a chance to grow one of the fastest growing start-ups in London and be part of a company that is revolutionising the space it operates in.

Managing a small team of 3, key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in formulation the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
• Monitor and direct strategic business plans
• Develop financial and tax strategies
• Oversee all transaction and processing systems
• Implement operational best practices
• Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions
• Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities
• Ensure effective internal controls are in place and applicable regulatory legislation for financial and tax reporting

Ideally you will hold a formal accounting qualification and will have a strong track record of good commercial and strategic decisions.  Being able to demonstrate effective support for CEO, Board, investors and other stakeholders, experience of raising investment and managing an exit/sale would be advantageous.
