Portfolio Finance Director

Our client is a well regarded mid market private equity firm, who is looking to appoint a "Portfolio Finance Director". The candidate will work alongside the investment team and be part of the management team, of all portfolio businesses within the fund. You will be an operational Finance Director responsible for all hands on finance management within the individual businesses, with an evaluation and due diligence on new investments, and handling of legal contracts.

Financially qualified and preferably with a 'big 4' background you will have experience of working as Finance Director for private equity-backed organisations, supporting senior management team driving tangible performance improvement. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and commercial experience, ideally having also worked within corporate finance, restructuring, and tax, either in practice or consultancy.

You will be used to operating in a high growth environment; demonstrating a strong management style, and you will act as an effective business as part of the management teams.

You will be results-driven, hands-on with experience in managing an internal finance function. Critical to the success of the role will be your desire to be involved in all aspects of the business; personally enabling you to develop right-sized systems and processes across the business, whilst working strategically with other members of each individual board to develop the business plan.
