Finance Business Partner

A retail company based in Greater Manchester are looking to add to their offering with an interm finance business partner. The team are currently undertaking a large project which they need help with. They need someone with strong business partnering and financial modelling experience to deal with business cases. This will be reporting to the finance director.

Key Responsibilites and duties

• Working closely with senior management and the finance director to help develop business plans
• Business case modelling
• Key contact for assurance reviews and finance owner for business case refreshes
• Work proactively with key business partners and stakeholders to develop successful partnering relationships
• Work collaboratively with members of the Finance Business Partner community to promote and share business partnering ideas, learning's, experiences and best practice (internal and external)
• Ensuring cost control and cost management
• Finance owner and lead on the development and creation of a new Business case model for the programme

Key experience and skills required for this position

• Professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification
• Strong IT system orientation including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills and experience of financial modeling.
• Knowledge of Oracle / SAP will be beneficial
• Proven track record in analytical skills, attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Knowledge and understanding of management and financial accounting processes and systems.
• Demonstrable experience in Business Partnering and a passion for building successful relationship with the business
• Proven ability to present a compelling argument through written, numerical and oral presentations
• Ability and flexibility to plan, organise and prioritise workloads to achieve pre-determined deadlines with ad hoc requests
