Interim Financial Controller

Frazer John Recruitment Finance Practice are partnering with a large subsidiary of a global manufacturing business to recruit an interim Financial Controller.
The Financial Controller will report to the UK Finance Director and will be responsible for managing all the financial accounting and reporting for the UK business. The Financial Controller will be required to:

• Be responsible for the monthly consolidated management accounts and ensure the finance team delivers timely and accurate results.
• Prepare commentary and full analysis of variances against budget and previous year across sales and operations for reporting to Group.
• Maintain strong financial control of the Balance Sheet and working capital. 
• Work cross functionally, partnering operations, sales, supply chain to provide management information and identify areas of opportunity for improved efficiency. 
• Lead the annual budget process and work with all functional areas of the business to complete a robust financial plan in line with the Groups strategy.
• Continuous improvement of controls and processes.
• Leadership of a small finance team.
• Involvement in Adhoc projects as required.

To be successful in this role the Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant, CIMA, ACCA or ACA.  You will have multi-site experience and preferably a track record in manufacturing. You will have strong technical accounting experience and be comfortable with change management and working with a variety of stakeholders.
