Finance Director

Our client is a long established, very successful and popular cultural and artistic destination and is already a venue for a vast array of events, hospitality and other civic activities. The Trustees and management team have ambitious plans for growth and the organisation is perfectly positioned with its numerous partners to expand its reach and deepen engagement with a much wider potential audience. The strong financial position of the organisation will allow implementation of an ambitious strategic plan and as a key part of enacting this plan a new Finance Director is sought to partner the CEO in leading this exciting and dynamic expansion and change programme.

The role will involve the day to day management of all aspects of the finance function as well as assisting in commercial decision making to ensure the best possible operational performance of the organisation as well as identifying new and rewarding opportunities.  The ideal candidate should have demonstrable experience as the stand alone Finance Director (sector not important) with full Board accountability as well as be adept at leading transformational organisational change and expansion.  In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to have the gravitas and credibility to deputise for the CEO, where appropriate, as well as liaise with external stakeholders, Trustees and other third parties.  This role would suit an energetic, proactive and motivational individual who is looking to make a major positive impact on an already highly successful organisation.
