Interim Finance Director

FD Recruit is pleased to announce a new Interim Finance Director vacancy with our client based in Guildford, Surrey.

Our client, a respected name in the Pharmaceuticals field, needs the support of a creative, tenacious and driven Finance Director for a 6-9 month contract.   

This contract has arisen due to a period of significant change within the company and an extensive set of future goals.  Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Finance professional to lead them through the next 6-9 months of their growth plan.

The Interim FD will be accountable for the company finance function, lead the finance team and report directly to the CEO.  It is a fantastic opportunity for a pro-active, forward-thinking person who can generate results in a short space of time.

Key responsibilities:

• Create strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external
• Create a robust financial reporting framework
• Develop the finance team
• Report directly to CEO
• Work in partnership with Senior Management to influence company strategic direction
• Accountable for all financial operations, such as budgeting & forecasting, management accounts, month end reports, statutory accounts, setting KPIs, compliance and cash flow
• Give financial advice and guidance to the company
• Evaluate company financial success and achievements

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 6 years' demonstrable experience
• Fully qualified accountant
• Experienced in Interim roles and making an impact within a set time frame is advantageous
• Ability to influence, lead and inspire those around them
• A visionary thinker, with strategic focus
