Financial Controller

My client is a private healthcare clinic seeking a commercially focused Financial Controller to lead their team. The role is based in Chelsea, and will hold a senior leadership position within the company. The company are highly acquisitive and have recently opened 3 new sites across London, contributing to their 60 million pound turnover. The successful candidate will be fully ACA qualified and will have audited or worked in a health company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the company finances
• Leading and developing a small team
• Working extensively with the CEO to drive profitability
• Business partnering with commercial teams to enhance the company brand
• Creating detailed company forecasts and setting budgets
• Balance sheet Reconciliations
• Ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting functions
• Developing and maintaining first class systems and controls

Desired Skills and Experience

• Must be fully qualified ACA
• Highly motivated and pro-active self starter
• Prior healthcare experience is essential
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• Previous experience of managing and developing staff
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent Excel skills
